Animal Ethics Training

From the start of 2025 the Online CANVAS animal ethics training and Individual Authorisations are being phased out.

All new personnel named on ethics applications MUST complete mandatory online Phase I ANZCCART ComPass training and upload their ComPass certificate to the ethics application they are listed on. Personnel who previously completed Animal Ethics Training on Canvas and received authorisation prior to 2025 will be required to complete ComPass training upon the renewal of their application. However, the AEC strongly recommends that all personnel complete Phase I ANZCCART ComPass training as soon as possible.
