Semester 2, 2026 Graduate Research Orientation Day
The Orientation teams across the University are currently finalising O‑Week arrangements, so some details are still to be confirmed. All commencing HDR students will receive orientation-specific emails once registration opens.
When: Orientation Week will run from 3–7 August 2026, with the Graduate Research-specific day to be confirmed (TBC).
Where: Ann Harding Conference Centre, University of Canberra campus

- Getting familiar with UC campus and UC services
- Enrolment, fees, and HDR milestones
- Managing your degree
- Understanding candidate rights, roles, and responsibilities
- Academic student supports at UC
- Student Wellbeing supports and services
We encourage in-person attendance to get the most out of your orientation experience, but online attendance is available if needed, details provided in registration.
