Clinics on Offer
The UC Health Clinics Student-Led clinics offers low-cost consultations to the Canberra community and surrounding Areas.
Students provide services under the supervision of a qualified therapist.
Assess and manage injuries including: Back Pain, Neck Pain, Sports injuries and general injuries.
Group Based Physiotherapy focusing on mobility, balance and function. Assessment and treatment for individuals with: Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions
Assessment and support of children, adolescents (ages 3-18) and their families to develop life skills for participation in everyday activities.
Assessment and management of anxiety, depression, emotional regulations, self-esteem issues and stress related concerns.
Client centred approach to support life challenges and changes, bereavement, anxiety and general well being.
Exercise prescription and group classes to manage and improve health and function.
Dietary assessments and advice to promote good health.
As services are provided by students under supervision, no rebate is available through private health funds, Medicare or third-party providers.
The Faculty of Health Clinics provide services to University of Canberra staff, students and the community. The private practitioners at the Clinic are highly qualified in their field and are committed to the wellbeing of their clients.
