Introduction

This Minor provides broad based practical study in the media arts. Students will gain a grounding in the underlying principles and techniques of media arts production in forms including still image, video, animation and sound.

Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Media Arts and Production and associated double degrees will complete units 7887 Motion Graphics and 7886 Sound Design and Production as part of this minor. Some units in the this minor are restricted to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Media Arts and Production. Units that form part of the Bachelor of Graphic Design cannot count towards this minor. Graphic Design students should choose other units from the list of Restricted choices.
