Introduction

The event and tourism management major explores the relationships between the event and tourism industries including the role of events in tourism, as well as event development, and event and tourism management. Featuring a combination of practical and theoretical content, it is designed to give students skills and knowledge across a range of tourism and event contexts that will underpin a career in the event and tourism industries.
