The Major in Building and Construction Management is designed to introduce students to the building and construction industry. The Building and Construction Management Major forms the cornerstone of the Building and Construction Management Degree. It in itself does not qualify for membership to the Australian Institute of Building, requiring other units to be completed as part of the degree.

Students must complete either unit 4977 Introduction to Business Law or unit 6594 Contract Law before enrolling in unit 7827 Building and Construction Law.
