UC OPEN DAY FEST
Sat 20 Sept, 9am - 3pm
Units are modules where you learn and get assessed. They can be lectures, tutorials, workshops or laboratories. At other universities they may be called subjects.
Enrolment opens early/mid-December for the following year. For example, from December 2026 you can enrol in units for Semester 1 or Semester 2, 2027.
Click each step for additional details.
1. Log in to your student account
2. Find your study pattern (This will tell you the units you need to enrol in)
4. Create your timetable (You will need to wait 24 hours after enrolment to do this)
Book a time for 1:1 support with a UC team member.
Your username is your student ID with a 'u' in front (u123456). Your password should have been emailed to you when you accepted your offer, however if you have lost or forgotten it, you can change or reset your password.
Go to the myUC homepage and login.
Your username and password will also give you access to UCLearn and your student email account.
Navigate to the Digital Handbook and find your course. Scroll to the bottom and click "Typical study pattern".
Select the option which applies to you—Full time or part time, Semester 1 or Semester 2 commencing.
Make note of the first units in the list. Most full-time students will have 3 or 4 units and most part-time students will have 1 or 2 units in their initial semester.
Your first units will be emailed to you after you accept your offer.
You can also discover which units you need to enrol in below.
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is different to your student ID. You need a USI before you can enrol in units. If you do not have one or you are unsure, you can easily create a new one or search for an existing one on the USI website.
2. From the top menu, select 'Enrolment and timetable' then 'Unit enrolment'
3. Complete the pre-enrolment questions, update your address and add your USI
4. The course you are enrolled in will appear at the top of the 'Unit enrolment' page. Select your commencing year.
5. Select 'View course requirements'. Find and select the first unit from your study pattern. You can also search by unit name in the search box.
6. On the unit pop-up, click the plus (+) symbol next to the correct semester and location to add that unit to your list.
7. Once you have added all units for your upcoming semester, press enrol.
Self-enrolment will close at the end of week 1. After this time, you will need to contact Student Centre to receive help with enrolling.
Creating your timetable allows you to choose the days and times of each unit.
The timetable for units is available roughly 6 weeks before the respective semester begins.
If you enrol after the dates below, you will be able to create your timetable 24 hours after you enrol. If you enrol before the dates below, you will need to wait until the opening date to create your timetable.
Watch the video in this section or visit myUC to learn how to build your timetable.
If you have any questions about enroling in your units, contact the Student Centre team.
