UC Agent Newsletter May 2026 (All regions)

Greetings from UC

Renee Murphy, Director of Student Recruitment and Marketing

As we approach our second intake of the year, the UC team is focused on the conversations that matter most. We’re speaking with students, working closely with agents and doing what we can to help applicants move from questions to decisions with confidence.

We know the international education sector is still navigating a level of uncertainty. There’s a lot to consider, and we recognise the care and effort you put into guiding students through it every day. At UC, we are here, engaged and ready to work alongside you to support your students.

Shifting focus back to our campus, our March graduation ceremonies were a powerful reminder of what this work leads to. Gowns, proud families, big smiles, and students crossing the stage after taking a brave step to study far from home. These moments matter.

We also recently shared an important update on selected health courses, including application timelines, rolling assessments and capacity-managed places. These courses are highly competitive, so please make sure you’ve seen the latest advice and get in touch if you think you’ve missed it.

And before you go, take five minutes to try our UC agent quiz. There are great prizes, a bit of friendly competition and a chance to test your UC knowledge.

Thank you again for your continued partnership.

There’s nothing more powerful than hearing directly from students. In these two short videos, Ysabelle and Anna share what studying and living in Canberra is really like.

In “A Week of Student Life in Canberra”, Ysabelle takes viewers through her typical week, offering an authentic glimpse into campus life, study routines, and the balance between learning and lifestyle.

Meanwhile, Anna explores “Canberra’s Food Scene”, showcasing the city’s diverse and vibrant dining culture—an important part of student life outside the classroom.

Share these videos with your students to help them picture themselves studying at UC!
