On Wednesday 1 November pre-service Teachers at UC enjoyed “lessons from the past” as they viewed items from the ANME Collection, which showed examples of pedagogy and curriculum from early education in Australia. “What a great resource to have at the university …”.
The ANME is most grateful to Ms Vivienne Kelly for the donation to ANME of the late Emeritus Professor Richard Selleck’s professional archive and education history collection. Professor Selleck was for many years a Patron of the ANME.
It is with great regret and sadness that ANME records the closing of the Tuggeranong Schoolhouse Museum last month.

Visitors come weekly either to view the Collection or to donate items or both. Recent visitors have come from overseas and closer to home and include an anthropologist, an historian, and a politician.
