23 January 2014: ACT Chief Minister Katy Gallagher and Vice-Chancellor Stephen Parker have signed an agreement, paving the way for work to begin on designing the new University of Canberra Public Hospital.
The hospital is an important part of the University's health precinct, which includes a new super clinic and health clinics due to open shortly.
