Initial Teacher Education
UC offers undergraduate and graduate pathways to becoming a teacher.
Our portfolio of courses in Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Teaching offer units for key learning areas and course patterns for specific subjects such as Science, Technology and Mathematics (STeM), English, Studies of Society and Environment (SOSE), Health and Physical Education (HPE), Creative and Performing Arts, Design and Technology, and Languages other than English (LOTE).
All of our Initial Teacher Education (ITE) courses combine teaching theory and an invaluable practical component and are registered by the ACT Teacher Quality Institute.
