The University of Canberra 2008 Open Day will be held on Saturday 30 August 2008 from 9.00am to 4.00 pm.

At Open Day you have the chance to speak to academic staff, course advisers, as well as current students to gain a clear and comprehensive understanding of what study option is best for you. What’s on at UC Open Day?

Academic Expo - UC Refectory
We invite you to begin your day at the Academic Expo in the refectory (building1).Our academic staff, course advisers and students will be available to talk with you regarding all undergraduate and postgraduate courses available at the University of Canberra. There will also be a range of support services staff available to speak to on the day.

Course Information Session
Information sessions are a great way for you to determine if the course you are interested in really suits you. Academic staff will be holding information sessions on courses throughout Open Day. Take part in these sessions to gain an in-depth view into the course structures, subjects and requirements. Check out the information session Open Day program.

Tours
View the facilities available to University of Canberra students and take a guided campus tour. General campus tours will be run throughout the day. For those with more specific interests, tours will also run through some of the University’s specialised facilities. Tour details can be found in the Open Day program.

Displays & Demonstrations
A variety of informative and entertaining displays and demonstrations will take place on Open Day. These displays allow you to see first hand some of the activities students at the University of Canberra participate in. Entertainment There is a lot of fun to be had at the University of Canberra Open Day with entertainment for the whole family including bands, talent competitions, children’s entertainment and concourse market.
