Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. State and analyse a problem related to the latest development and challenges in the ICT industry;
2. Formulate a solution based on the synthesis of knowledge and skills acquired throughout the course, and propose a project to address it;
3. Develop and implement a viable ICT project plan that adheres to professional best practices, the code of ethics, industry standards, and the social implications of the proposed solution;
4. Adequately address the context of ICT projects by considering social and economic constraints, cultural contexts (including Indigenous issues), legal and ethical considerations, risk-benefit balance, digital inequality, and the interests of stakeholders; and
5. Demonstrate professional skills, such as teamwork, communication and project management in the development of an ICT project, including an understanding of the role of professional bodies and societies.
