Learning outcomes

This unit uses a blended learning mode which is defined as:
strategic and considered approach to teaching and learning that effectively integrates different models of teaching and styles of learning whereby both face-to-face and online learning are each made better by the presence of the other. (Carter 2009)
For on campus students:
Intensive delivery over a number seminars of 2 hours each supplemented by online materials and extensive individual and group reading/assignment work. Some lectures may be substituted for online work/research. This will be advised in Canvas.
