The unit will cover topics and skills including: - the process of scholarly publishing, including peer-reviewing, editing and publication.- the concepts of scholarly research and 'publishable quality'. - skills in research writing, editing, citation in the context of academic publishing.
explain, understand and perform the tasks involved in the editing and publication of an academic law journal
critically assess the standard of academic research in law according to set criteria;
demonstrate highly developed skills in scholarly writing, editing, proofing and citation using the Australian Guide to Legal Citation.
