Learning outcomes
After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Critically appraise the concept of advanced practice with reference to state and territory legislative and workplace contexts;
2. Perform an in-depth analysis and apply clinical reasoning to development of advanced practice in a specified role;
3. Critically evaluate areas of need for advanced practice in your workplace, recognising local context and diversity, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives;
4. Develop innovative solutions to identified areas of need, incorporating critical analysis of evidence in a practice, organisation or educational context; and
5. Communicate persuasively in culturally appropriate ways to promote proposed improvements and solutions.
