Learning outcomes
After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Apply foundational knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and pathophysiology to assess and manage peripheral conditions;
2. Conduct safe and effective clinical assessments using structured reasoning to support diagnosis and management planning;
3. Interpret assessment findings and relevant evidence to explain physiotherapy decisions and treatment options;
4. Plan and implement physiotherapy interventions using clinical reasoning to prioritise problems, apply evidence-informed strategies, and consider input from other health professionals; and
5. Demonstrate understanding of how cultural identity, values, and lived experience influence person-centred and culturally responsive care.
