Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Implement ethical and lawful responsibilities associated with the strength and conditioning coaching profession;
2. Evaluate facility management and set-up in-line with strength and conditioning program delivery;
3. Conduct assessments, to inform program design and program and delivery in a relevant area of strength and conditioning, under supervision; and

Participation requirements
This unit will be delivered online via meetings, readings and indepedent activities. Students will also be required to complete professional placement.
Required IT skills
This unit involves online meetings in real time and students are expected to have the required skills to use Microsoft Teams and Zoom. To participate verbally, rather than just typing, you will need a microphone. For best audio quality we recommend a microphone and speaker headset.
In-unit costs
Students will be responsible for any costs incurred during their placement (e.g. travel costs, pre-placement requirements). Some placement sites may have specific requirements that will incur extra costs.

This unit involves an internship.
Students must adhere to University policy during WIL experiences, including the Student Conduct Rules 2018, the WIL Policy and WIL Procedure, and the Assessment Policy and Assessment Procedure.
