This unit challenges the notions of truth and knowledge. It will explore the idea of cultural relativity and challenge our own way of thinking. Knowledge generation will be examined by exploring fictional and historical worlds that establish their own truths and ideations.
1. Identify and explain key research methodologies and ideas relevant to the creative industries;
2. Interpret and evaluate a range of knowledge systems relevant to their chosen field within the creative industries; and
3. Research global and cultural contexts in a chosen field of practice using valid methodologies, including indigenous contexts.
