Learning outcomes
After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Investigate and analyse current issues and problems in the domain of digital marketing and provide practical solutions to the problem that you have identified;
2. Assess elements of good website design and apply theoretical foundations to recommend improvements in the online presence of large and small businesses and organisations in Australia as well as globally;
3. Analyse and critically evaluate the emerging trends in digital marketing by applying relevant theories and frameworks and provide recommendations how organisations can respond to the constantly changing business environment; and
4. Critically apply theories to develop strategies to create website traffic in a variety of business settings.

Use of Text-Matching Software
The University of Canberra uses text-matching software to help students and staff reduce plagiarism and improve understanding of academic integrity. The software matches submitted text in student assignments against material from various sources: the internet, published books and journals, and previously submitted student texts.
Participation requirements
Students are required to attend all tutorial sessions. The unit relies on students being independent learners. The lectures are pre-recorded. However, the tutorials are run as a flipped classroom and student participation is encouraged to facilitate effective learning. Students who are unable to attend their allocated tutorial can attend another tutorial in that particular week.
Required IT skills
Basic IT skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint- students will be required to join various social media sites.
