Learning outcomes
After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Identify, design, plan, implement, evaluate and reflect on a community based project that meets the goals of the organisation, target segments, business models, and social business and understand the overarching context in which social businesses operate;
2. Analyse the individual's and group's performance of the leadership, management and human related practices, outcomes achieved and identify how could be improved and reflect on social impact and how this project helped toward improving society;
3. Working individually and in groups, undertakes appropriate cultural competence to enable them to participate ethically and effectively in personal, community and professional intercultural settings;

Special assessment requirements
In additon to Lecturers marking. Peer Reviews are requiired for some assessments. See Canvas Assignment Module.
40 hours of Practical Work Integrated Learning will be requiired in S2. This can be done self paced until week 7 of S2.

Use of Text-Matching Software
The University of Canberra uses text-matching software to help students and staff reduce plagiarism and improve understanding of academic integrity. The software matches submitted text in student assignments against material from various sources: the internet, published books and journals, and previously submitted student texts.
To pass this unit you must attempt all assessment items and gain a 50% grade.
