Learning outcomes
After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Work independently and collaboratively to create a short film production;
2. Survey local and national short film festivals and produce the appropriate deliverables;
3. Identify crew roles and prepare pre-production documents from at least one crew specialisation; and
4. Perform a key creative role in the production of a short film.

As much of the material needed to pass this unit occurs in the weekly workshops through group meetings, presentations, sharing of knowledge it is strongly advised that students attend the workshops each week.
Participation requirements
Much of the information needed to pass this unit occurs during the weekly workshops - especially those from weeks 1-7.
