The Happiest Day, The Happiest Hour

My project examines the ideology of prides meaningless arrogance in the face of death. Through using a prolonged metaphor through a snake, an animal that has been either worshipped or feared in various cultures, it presents the notion of authority whilst living yet becoming an equal when met in death. This body of work explores that once we all pass on, no matter our rich materialism or sense of superiority, we all end up on the same level; six feet under.
