I created a collection of 20 designs based on 1700s European countries. One of which I chose was Portugal. I love Portugal the bright colours, views, weather but most of all I love Portuguese tiles. I wanted for this collection to incorporate these tiles into my outfit. So, I ended up screen printing tiles onto some linen, then on to the linen cork from Portugal. Portugal is the biggest exporter in cork, in the world and I thought it would be an amazing detail to applique onto my skirt.
