The design is based off the short poem, There Will Come Soft Rains by Sara Teasdale, intended to communicate the idea of the triviality of human existence. In the end, we are only a speck of dust amongst the Universe and that on a day we all cease to exist, only nature prevails.
The design emphasises the astonishing and lively features of the natural world (trees, grass).
