This artwork is about me. Titled ‘Unknown’, this is about the mental turmoil at this moment in my life in year 12 means for me. It focuses on my story of how I feel, being at the crossroads of life which I am asked to know myself when I don’t know if I could conform to a set course which is asked of me. I took inspiration from Frida Kahlo’s use of symbols to convey this. I show many faces with conflicting emotions, showing that I don’t feel just one way about this time in my life, and how these conflicting emotions influence my decisions.
