Read between the lines

The work shows two hands resting on a thigh, one laid on top of the other. The hands are that of an aged person and show that the person has lived through many experiences hence the title of the piece. “ Read between the lines''. The clothes worn by the figure are slightly pulled up on the area of the thigh where the hand is resting, the smoothness of the fabric contrasting with the wrinkled texture of the individual's skin.
