‘Hazy Nostalgia’ explores the fleeting nature of childhood memory and innocence. Capturing past and present in a domestic garden scene across two canvases. Art elements connect the scenes as a journey, while scale illustrates the length and weight of the periods. Colour saturation progression, focussed realism intensity and garden growth are dispersed from the left canvas' focal point. Painting the overwhelming growth, self care expectations, and realistic views that come with maturity, along with fading child-like perspectives and lifestyles with a reminiscent atmosphere through comparison.
