I decided to redesign the covers for one of my favorite book series, inspired by designs of Americana and the early 20th century, while drawing from the noir influences that I enjoyed within the literature. Translating from the novels to a visual medium and tailoring it to each individual volume also allowed me to explore a broader range of techniques, symbols and typography.
