For this session’s modeling project, I decided to go with a modified design of my beach house from Session 2 in a 1:00 scale as it was the simplest option with the most character in my opinion. Furthermore, it had many eco-rating elements to improve the sustainability of the design such as its orientation to the Sun, the thermal mass of its concrete walls, and the large overhang of the roof to provide shade in the Summer. My initial goal for this model was a clean and crisp all-white aesthetics, utilizing solely foam boards as this was the material provided in class
