'A fictional memoir on one's experience with grief.

Eloise and Linda are platonic soulmates. Were, platonic soulmates. Linda died of cancer and now, Eloise is trying to define her personal grief. The world is filled with representations and accounts of people experiencing grief yet none of them seem to resonate with her.

Last year, I lost my childhood best friend to sarcoma cancer. While it was difficult to confront such non-linear emotions, I am happy with what I have produced as it encapsulates my grief to the furthest extent possible.

In my story, I use alliteration to establish the presence of grief.
