My short film, combining the highly contrasting cinematography of Wong Kar-Wai and Wes Anderson, shows the adversity of being authentic in your identity. Providing a cynical, melancholic perspective on identity, I invite the audience to re-evaluate their personal relationships to the self and reflect on a wider, societal scope, as the systemic and pervasive nature of our world restricts our ability of self-expression.
