Although this essay was for a school project/assignment, I was presented with a range ofdifferent essay questions to choose from and the question ‘Back in the 1950s, Erik Erikson argued that many adolescents and young adults experience at umultuousidentitycrisis.’ was the one that I chose for reasons being that I am fascinated by individuals finding their true identity and the process they had to go through to achieve it. Also, I have a strong passion andi nterest in the general topic of psychology, and I wish to go into the field of clinical psychology inthe future. The process of creating this essay involved doing lots of research to gather helpful knowledge about this topic, and then there was quite a bit of procrastination involved too. Still, the end result of this essay is pretty decent and worth the read. Hope you enjoy!
