This is a self portrait designed to communicate self expression and the importance of art. I was told throughout high school that art is 'brain rot' and a waste of time. Using this as motivation, I created this piece to show that what one person considers brain rot, another person may consider creativity and expression. I wanted to highlight the importance of art not only on a personal level but in greater society. this piece is one of my favourites and was successful in being selected for the Step into the Limelight exhibition in 2021.
