She's alive! She's alive!' is a lenticular artwork, a format that shows a different piece depending on the angle it is viewed from. One side was created using charcoal in a classicism-inspired style, the other—acrylic paint in a pop art-inspired style. These artistic genres were unified in order to provide a commentary on the consumption of horror media; how for many individuals, consuming or creating horrific content provides a safe environment to experience and confront our own very real fears.
