The University of Canberra offers a variety of scholarships to international students. For scholarships based on academic merit, you will be automatically assessed and offered any applicable scholarship when you receive your offer letter from the Admissions Office. You can use the application form below to apply for any other unique international scholarships that are offered by the University of Canberra.
Before commencing this application form, please read carefully through the information and deadlines below and ensure you leave adequate time to complete the application before the deadline.
During the application process, you can apply for more than scholarship category (i.e. Financial Need, Academic Merit and/or Athlete Scholarships). Please select yes for all scholarship categories that you wish to be considered for. If you have any questions about the scholarship application process, please visit our FAQs or contact the Scholarships Office.
You are encouraged to apply each semester, but please note that only one application can be considered in each scholarship round. Any subsequent applications that are submitted in that scholarship round will be treated as a duplicate and disregarded. Supporting statement cannot be submitted or emailed to accompany your application once it has been submitted so it is vital that you have all your information accurate, up to date and finalised at the time of submission.
Your application may be considered for a variety of scholarships within each category that you are applying for. The Scholarships Office will contact you if any additional information is required.
Any applications received after the published deadline will be automatically considered in the next scholarship round. If the scholarship that you have applied for is not available in a future scholarship round, then your scholarship application will not be considered.
All applications are due by 11:59pm, AEST on their nominated date.

When completing the following Scholarships Application, there are a few tips that the Scholarships Office have to offer:
- Pay extra attention when entering your personal details (Name, Student ID, and contact information) as any errors in this information could result in your application being disregarded, or the Scholarships Office may not be able to contact you for any additional information if required.
- This application cannot be saved, so it is recommended that you read through all sections of the application form to work out what questions and documents are going to be required.
- Many scholarship applications are received for each scholarship round which means the selection process is very competitive. Make sure you put in the time and effort when writing your responses to questions that require longer answers (e.g. Please provide details outlining any leadership roles, work experience, community engagement or volunteer work that you have undertaken).
