Prof Raechel Johns

Prof Raechel JohnsRaechel is the Head of the Canberra Business School at the University of Canberra and a Professor of Marketing and Service Management. While Raechel has diverse research interests, her research focuses predominately on two main streams - technology-facilitated service delivery and service delivery and social marketing to support community wellbeing, wellbeing of vulnerable consumers and positive behaviour change. Raechel's PhD thesis explored the impact of self-service technologies on business to business relationships. Prior to her academic career, Raechel worked in marketing within the retail industry and then within the IT industry, and in internet-based organisations.

Prior to her academic career, Raechel worked in Marketing in the IT industry and internet based organisations and this industry experience intersects with her research interests. Her first marketing role was in retail, as the Marketing Manager of a shopping centre.
