Major in Mainframe Computing covers in-depth knowledge and skills in IBM mainframe computing. Together with Major in Information Technology and Systems and Major in Information Technology, this Major provides graduates with the knowledge and skills of cutting edge developments in the ICT industry in the context of mainframe computing, including business, information systems, system analysis and modelling, system administration, security, networking, software development, and data analytics and artificial intelligence etc.
This Major is compulsory to this course, Bachelor of Information and Mainframe Technology. It is also only available to the students enrolling into this course. The students on this course are required to be fully employed by a Sponsoring Employer arranged by Column 72.
