The Interior Architecture course major provides a fundamental introduction to the field of interior spatial design.
Throughout the Interior Architecture major, an emphasis on contemporary practice and research develops students ability to think conceptually and understand the complex contexts in which they are designing. Collaborative design studio units underpin the course major, providing students with varied opportunities to develop, discuss and debate ideas as they would in industry. The design studio units are augmented by unit sets in interior architecture, technology, and digital design and fabrication, thereby ensuring that successful completion of the major will equip students with the skills and knowledge required to practice as dynamic and agile design professionals.
Of significance to the experience of the course major is the prioritisation of industry engagement through the delivery of 'live' projects, and participation of leading design professionals and industry practitioners.
