The minor in sport and exercise psychology provides students with a sound knowledge of the theory and applications of sport and exercise psychology via a systematic program of study. The minor commences with an introduction to key background psychological theories, before proceeding to units with an applied focus offering detailed study in specific areas of sport psychology, exercise psychology, and health psychology. Satisfactory completion of either 4309 Psychology 101 or 4310 Psychology 102 is a prerequisite to enrolment in the subsequent units comprising the minor.
