This minor provides background knowledge and skills in the area of forensic science, enabling graduates to understand forensic evidence, the role of the forensic practitioner in the legal system, the types of physical evidence, evidence analysis and interpretation, and forensic case management.
Knowledge and skills gained on completion of this minor can assist with careers in areas such as forensic science, law, psychology, and any other fields where evidence may need to be presented in court or where a general knowledge of forensic science can be of assistance (eg. positions in the media).
