This minor provides knowledge and skills necessary for bringing a population health perspective to a diverse range of policy and practice roles across government, industry and community sectors. Examples of roles that benefit from this perspective are business, management, law, engineering, sustainability, education, community development, design, environment and urban planning.

From 2013 there is expected to be some easing of the prerequisites when studying units within the Public Health minor. If students are interested in the four unit minor but not intending to study Introduction to Statistics 6540 or Systemic Anatomy and Physiology 6529 they should contact the course convener for Public Health.
