This minor develops an understanding of earth and environmental chemistry. It provides students with the basic knowledge and skills to apply chemical principles to resource exploration and assessment, environmental monitoring/management and environmental and minesite rehabilitation. The minor is offered to students within the Faculty of Applied Science and to other students across the University who require a strong grounding in applied environmental chemistry.
