The landscape technology minor explores the implementation and documentation process in the construction of landscape architectural projects. It interrogates the environmental considerations of working with landform. By the completion of the minor students will be able to: - understand the methods of manipulation of landform required for sustainable design solutions; - explore the use of materials and structure in the landscape and the whole of life cycle implications of design decision making; - understand the specificities of construction management in landscape architectural projects; and - understand and contribute to basic contract administration in construction projects.
