This minor develops mathematics begun in Discrete Mathematics and Mathematics for Information Sciences towards applications in Information Technology such as public key encryption, digital data storage and communication, and computer modelling of business decisions. It is intended to be internal to the Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Software Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering courses, but can also be taken by any student with the proper prerequisites.
