This minor extends the quantitative approach to business and financial decisions begun in the unit Business Statistics. The emphasis is on formulation and analysis of mathematical and statistical models. Techniques relevant to this emphasis are developed. Students will deal with realistic economic and financial data sets, and learn quantitative skills directly applicable to business management.
Assumed knowledge: Year-12 mathematics: ACT Mathematical Methods Major, NSW Mathematics Extension 1 or equivalent
