This minor has been designed for teachers who would like to teach IT in schools, specifically Primary and Middle Schools. It provides students with some programming, database, security and support skills as well as some knowledge of intellectual property, copyright and related legal issues. It gives students a strong enough background to tackle some of the technical and support areas in IT.
Assumed knowledge: Competent in the use of computers for everyday work.
