This minor develops a sound understanding of a wide range of chemical principles and analytical and field applications. It provides a foundation for students pursuing a career in industry or as secondary chemistry teachers (as a second teaching area), and support of research or professions in other scientific discipline areas.
Assumed knowledge: Familiarity with Chemistry to Year 11/12 would be useful.
The prerequisites for Biochemistry is 0483 Concepts in Biology and 1516 Chemistry 1A
