This Minor provides an opportunity for students to obtain skills and knowledge in journalism practice with an emphasis on the broadcast media. Theoretical and conceptual knowledge and professional practice are developed in an integrated fashion. It may be taken as an open elective Minor by students enrolled in any University of Canberra course.
Assumed knowledge: Students need a keen interest in local, regional, national and international news and current affairs and a passion for written and verbal communication.
