This major is relevant to anyone undertaking a wide variety of courses in which perspectives on human-environment interactions are relevant (e.g. environmental studies, urban planning, design studies). It also provides a sound foundation for those wishing to proceed to post graduate study in public health and environmental health or one of the sub disciplines of this emerging professional market. The course will cover stressors and meliors for human health and wellbeing and will provide the students with a range of transferable skills that they can take into professional practice.
